Marine Unit
The Marine Unit supports waterway safety, vessel enforcement, and maritime response operations. Officers in this division patrol coastal and inland waters, assist with search and rescue coordination, and enforce marine law alongside partner agencies.
Marine Unit officers specialize in waterway safety, vessel enforcement, and maritime response across coastal and inland waters. The division supports patrol when calls move onto the water — vessel stops, search and rescue coordination, and marine-law enforcement alongside partner agencies.
Members train for boat operations, waterborne scene control, and clear radio coordination when land and marine units work the same incident. Marine Unit roleplay emphasizes realistic vessel handling, safety on the water, and professional contact with the boating community.
This division fits officers who want maritime specialization, stay calm during waterborne emergencies, and can document vessel contacts and assistance calls with the same standard as shoreline patrol.
