The Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU) is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations after the initial patrol response. Detectives gather and analyze evidence, interview victims and witnesses, review incident reports, develop timelines, and organize case files to support accurate and well-documented investigative outcomes.
CIU is intended for members who value professionalism, attention to detail, and structured investigative roleplay. Detectives are expected to work cases methodically, maintain clear documentation, coordinate with other personnel when necessary, and ensure each investigation is handled thoroughly from initial follow-up through case closure.
